What Is Health and Well Being: Green Coffee Bean Extract
So You Bought Some Low-quality Green Coffee Beans from Overseas?
And you thought you were going to lose 10 lbs. overnight? Unfortunately, it didn't happen, did it? What really happened is... you got "conned." And I'm willing to venture you didn't even realize they were imported from Asia.
The moment that green coffee bean extract became all the rage, the bottom feeders were all over it, importing low-quality supplements from Asia. And like most bottom-feeders, they could care less that these low-quality supplements may pose a major health risk to your thyroid! All they really care about is making a quick profit.
But It Was a Brand Name.
I'm sorry to burst your trust bubble. Buying a brand name product never was and never will be an assurance of quality. Realize also that many of these low-quality products also contain ephedrine, which is added to give you an artificial boost in energy. And this is one of the added ingredients making them dangerous to your health.
Is Green Coffee Bean Extract Anything More than a Panacea?
It may be. However, due to the popularity of the green coffee bean extract, those companies making top quality extracts in the U.S., containing at least 50% chlorogenic acid, can't find the supply to meet the consumer demand! So the statement seen on many sites that they may run out of product, is not just a sales tactic. Running out of supply happens quite frequently.
The 4 Steps You Must Take to Ensure You are Getting the Real Deal
Always make sure the supplements you choose are made in the USA or Europe. I can tell you that I have often intended to buy a product, because the advertising on the bottle was attractive, branded, and had in it what I wanted or felt I needed. But many brand manufacturers try to hide the fact that their products are made overseas in Asia. So if you don't look at the box or bottle, carefully, you won't see that in print almost too tiny to see... yes, there it is... "Made in China," where the standards for quality are often low or non-existent.The truth is... you should avoid Ephedrine, at all costs. Remember, the bottom line for many manufacturers is profit, at the expense of quality. And guess what... ? It is much cheaper to substitute ephedrine for green coffee bean extract!
You must always verify that you are getting real green coffee bean extract that is at least 50% chlorogenic acid. If you do verify and buy from a trusted source, you are well on your way to potentially experiencing fast weight loss.
To get outstanding results, you must buy the most expensive, not the least expensive! Sure... this is not what you want to hear! I understand that. But why would you pay the least amount for a product, whose only hidden and real guarantee is... disappointment? Expect to pay a lot more for the highest quality, which is also the most effective.
The Bottom Line is Effective Weight Loss. Anything Else is Wishful Thinking...
The fact is that if you are experiencing any side-effects from a cheap green coffee bean brand, it is likely contaminated with ephedrine. Green coffee bean extract has no known side-effects. So anything less than the highest quality green coffee bean extract, with at least 50% Chlorogenic acid, from the supplier, who is charging a premium for the product, is a total waste of money... as if you have money to waste, right?

How You Can Lose Weight Without Being Hungry, Tired or Weak!
With all the gimmicks, weight loss products, exercise programs out there, how do you really decide what works and what doesn't. Well let me start by saying this, There is NO true "diet" pill that you can take and still eat whatever you want that will make you lose weight. Let me say that again, there is NO "majic" diet pill that will make you lose weight. Period! It just does not exist, and trust me I have tried them all. Sure you may lose a few pounds here and there but it eventually comes back and you usually only lose no more than 10 pounds, if that at all. The only true way to lose weight and keep it off is not by dieting, it is about changing your lifestyle.
You need to change your eating habits and your activity level. Weight just does not mysteriously disappear, although I wish it did but it is something you have to work at, just like you work at your marriage and raising your children, like you do when you work on a project for your job. You can start by changing the types of food you eat. Try to get away from the sugar, cut back on portions and eat lots of fruits and vegetables, whole grains and lean meats. If you decide to start an exercise program you need to choose one that suits your lifestyle and works best for you. Not everyone can do Zumba, maybe you have arthritis or an injury and you just can't do those particular exercises.
I personally like Tae Bo but one of the best exercises around is walking. It doesn't cost anything, except maybe a good pair of walking shoes, and it is easy on your knees and good for your heart. If you haven't exercised in awhile you will want to start out slow so you do not injure yourself. You can start by doing 20 to 30 minutes 3 times a week then increase it as you get stronger. (Please check with your doctor before starting any exercise routine.) A few other suggestions to help you with your weight loss is to keep a diary and write everything down. You can also get a friend to join in and help keep you accountable. Get your weight so you can keep track of how much you lose and set a realistic goal.
This is a start to help get you on the right track and to a healthier and happier you!

Being Overweight Increases Risk of Rheumatoid Arthritis
It is well know that being overweight or obese increases your risk of several health conditions, from heart disease and diabetes to chronic back pain. A new study demonstrates that a BMI over 25 puts you at an increased risk of rheumatoid arthritis.
Rheumatoid arthritis is characterized by inflammation that destroys the lining of joints and, eventually, causing bone erosion. It is believed to be an autoimmune disease in which the body misidentifies a threat and creates unnecessary, harmful inflammation around joints. It can affect joints in the hands, feet, wrists, knees, ankles, spine, elbows, hips and shoulders. Joints tend to be swollen and stiff, particularly in the morning. Joints may feel warm due to inflammation. You may experience a fever as well, since this is a form of whole-body inflammation that occurs when the body detects a threat.
This condition affects far more women than men. As rheumatoid arthritis progresses, joints may be deformed by erosion and may move out of alignment. Inflammation targets synovial lining in the joint, which thickens and causes ligaments supporting the joint to become overstretched and weak. Cartilage and bone around the joint deteriorates. The loss of structural integrity can lead to misalignment and increased pain upon movement.
Two long-term studies, one spanning from 1976-2008 and the other from 1989-2009, tracked over 100,000 adult women each to determine whether being overweight or obese factored into lifetime risk of developing rheumatoid arthritis. Risk was determined by "hazard ratio;" participants with a healthy weight were considered to have a hazard ratio of 1.00, and this served as a reference to base the risks of those with excess weight on. The longer study found that overweight individuals had a hazard ratio of 1.19 (19% higher), and obese people had a ratio of 1.18 (18% higher). The shorter study found overweight participants to have a ratio of 1.78 (78% higher) and obese participants to have a ratio of 1.73 (73% higher). A summary of the studies can be viewed at http://www.rheumatology.org/apps/MyAnnualMeeting/ExploreMeeting/AbstractDetail?abstractId=30503
Though the numbers differed, both studies lent supporting evidence to the theory that excess weight increases the risk of developing rheumatoid arthritis. Learning the risk factors for this condition is important, considering there is no cure for it. Treatment surrounds management of pain and stiffness as well as attempts to slow the disease's progression.
Losing weight healthily can be done in a number of ways. Healthy eating and physical activity generally combine to help you lose fat and gain lean muscle. Talk with a dietician or your doctor about different weight loss programs, or begin a program like Weight Watchers on your own. Weight Watchers has both free and low-fee program options.
Add rheumatoid arthritis to the extensive list of health conditions associated with excess weight. Help yourself avoid chronic pain conditions by maintaining a healthy weight.

Most people have goals they would like to achieve especially when it comes to health and fitness goals. I see people at the gym all the time working out but they don't seem like they are all there and giving it 100%. Their body might be there working out but there mind is elsewhere. I see people doing cardio while reading a book or a magazine. I don't see how they can be pushing themselves and giving it their all while being able to concentrate on reading. It's great that they took the time to go to the gym but that's only part of the battle. At first, you might see some results just because your body isn't used to doing any kind of physical activity but after a while, if you don't push yourself, you won't see the results you want.
People tend to only do things that they are comfortable with. When working out, if it starts getting hard, then some will stop. To get maximum results, you need to give it your all and continually push yourself in the gym. Your body is capable of doing amazing things! You need to have the proper mindset while working out and not be thinking about everything else going on in your life. You need be focused, concentrate on what you are doing and make sure you are using proper form.
Our mind will sometimes tell us that we can't, it's too hard, it's uncomfortable, just stop but we need to ignore our mind under these circumstances and learn to be comfortable with being uncomfortable. Think about your goals and how bad you want to achieve them. Nothing worth having comes easy. You have to work for your results! If you are lifting weights, don't push yourself to where you start using improper form cause it will only cause you to get injured. While I'm working out, I think about what I am doing and make sure I am doing the exercise properly. It helps me get the most out of each rep and ultimately, more out of my workout. The mind is an important part when it comes to exercising and achieving your health and fitness goals.
The body will learn to adapt and so it needs to be challenged and needs change. While at the gym doing a certain exercise, try to push yourself past your comfortable level and do just a little more. You will be amazed at the results you see! I believe that if you work hard, are dedicated and have patience you can achieve any of your goals!
Check out my article on hard work, dedication, patience.
Remember, you need to learn to be comfortable with being uncomfortable!
