You can probably still remember as a child the parental adage that would go something like this 'You better eat your vegetables or you won't grow up strong'.

Needles to say, although veggies are a great benefit to ones health, it actually doesn't always taste as good as those of fruits. In this regard, it will depend of course upon the persons' taste buds.

It is a fact that vegetables are essential to the health. These foods are equipped with all the essential nutrients and vitamins that the body require. They also vary in texture and color.

Today, there are about enumerable ways on how we can obtain these essential nutrients and vitamins however, taking it from all-natural sources is still best and most efficient way of ingesting these requirements in our body. Thus, we really need to teach our children to eat veggies. Question is, how do you get kids to eat vegetables?

One good idea, is to feed them the vegetables that taste good, and find ways to modify the vegetables they don't seem to like. This might include putting such things as brown sugar on squash. To make it more palatable to children you can saute the vegetable on butter or garlic. A few of the best tasting vegetables are cauliflower as well as broccoli when sauted or cooked with sauce.
